I bought this book as I have been looking for guidance as to which direction I should manage my team, and after reading several weighty management books on this subject, I found this one to be a very concise and thought-provoking guide that leaves the reader with a much better grasp of how your team can be motivated, and (as the title says) manage people effectively. A smashing book..

This book is a good quick overview, but it does not appear to be formatted correctly in the Kindle version. There are sections that appear to be lists that are not a list. The book mentions a table on p39. I did not find a table anywhere.
