Good Buy, September 26, 2005
This review is from: Manage Your Fears Manage Your Anger: A Psychiatrist Speaks (Hardcover)
I purchased this book for use at Recovery Inc. meetings. It's helpful over all, but a little difficult to follow sometimes. Each chapter is a transcript of one of Dr. Low's discussions, so that's why the flow seems a bit odd at first, since it's not written specifically for the reader. If you can mentally put yourself at the discussion, it reads fine. Overall I have found it useful.

Basics of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, December 21, 2008
This review is from: Manage Your Fears Manage Your Anger: A Psychiatrist Speaks (Hardcover)
This is a compilation of transcripts of lectures given by Dr. A. Low.
The lectures were recorded live at Recovery, Inc. (now Recovery, Int.)
in the early 50's, then laboriously transcribed in the early 90's by
Mary Spaulding, long time Recovery leader. I have read and used this
book, while leading Recovery meetings, for 15 years. I have seen the
philosophy presented in this book change many lives, including my own,
during that time. Books are available at Recovery, Int. meetings.
