Book Description

Time Management-Learn How To Manage Your Time Better

These 50 proven time management strategies will increase the quality of your work and home life through reducing stress and helping you achieve your goals more quickly.

When you are finished with this book you will have the skills needed to minimize the factors that are keeping you from spending more time with your family and friends and taking care of yourself.

One thing’s for certain, reading this book will not be a waste of your time. I am a firm believer in providing the best condensed information in my books.

You have my promise that you won’t have to sift through a bunch of boring statistics or useless information to get to the quality content you so desperately need. NO! These are straightforward proven strategies that you can start applying to your life within minutes.

Here are a few ways of managing your time better from the book:

1. The first step is to examine how you are using your time. Keep a journal for a week and record where your time goes, including recreational time, meals and sleep. This will help you get a sense of your current time management patterns.

2. Take time each morning to plan your day. Create a schedule with times for each activity, allowing some leeway for phone calls and other interruptions. Make sure to build in slots for meals and breaks.

3. Keep your eyes on the prize. What is it you really hope to accomplish in the long run? Do your daily activities move you closer to your ultimate goal? If not, try restructuring your daily schedule…

19. Most people strive to learn time management skills because they would like to end up with more free time. Ask yourself what you want to do with that extra free time. Spend more quality time with family and friends? Work on a hobby? Travel? Just relax with a good book? Whatever your passion, try to bring this to mind at least once a day. This is what makes all your hard work worthwhile.

20. Remember that you have choices in how you allocate your time each day. No matter what your situation, you don't have to be a powerless victim with respect to how you spend your time. If you exercise that control and arrange tasks in a way that is comfortable to you, you will feel more fulfilled at the end of each day.

21. No time management strategy will eliminate the inevitable monkey wrenches that will be thrown into your best laid plans. Good time managers learn to expect these unexpected disruptions, deal with them, and then refocus themselves on what's most important.

As you can see, the design and goal of this 50 quick tips book is to help you rapidly learn proven ways of managing your time better.

These effective time management strategies and techniques will:

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth Your Time to Read This Book! November 15, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I think that everyone struggles with time management at some point in his or her life. Whether it is work, family or lifestyle choices, American’s are notoriously stressed out and busy people. We are constantly trying to find more time in the day to get out never ending To Do list done. The drive to accomplish and meet deadlines is something that requires excellent time management skills.

This book is full of simple tips and tricks you can use to learn to utilize your time and work more effectively. Several of the tips focus on organizing your day, how to delegate and manage working with others, and limiting social interruptions like emails, texts, and phone calls. Social media is another huge time waster.

On of the tips that I know works for me is planning my days in advance and setting a timer, and allocating set hours in each day for certain tasks. While that may not work for you, this book will help you to identify what causes you to be less productive with your time, and help you to find a method of time management that suits your lifestyle best.

5.0 out of 5 stars Need Time Management Skills? Then Read This! November 14, 2013
By brown
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is a great read for nearly everyone; I mean who do you know that has enough time to do everything they want to do, certainly not your average person.

The tips that are included in the book are pretty straightforward and easy to follow, if you give them a chance. For instance, keeping a journal so that you understand where your time goes, setting reasonable goals for yourself, and not trying to multitask too much, so you can actually finish a task completely instead of doing too many tasks at once.

There are also other tips that revolve around things we know we should be doing but probably don't, like procrastinating and letting our electronics distract us.

I would recommend this book to anyone that needs help drawing the line between work and play and doesn't know where to start, or people that are rather bad at time management.

I love books that get right to the point, because really who has time to read a 500 page book about time management? This book is short and to the point. It manages time well while teaching you to manage your own time. Full of great, practical points that make sense. This book sets you on the right path to managing your time so that you can not only accomplish all your work goals, but also have more time for family, friends and fun. Who doesn’t want that? Great advice for a great life!

5.0 out of 5 stars 50 time management tips December 18, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
As someone with very poor time management, this book has some awesome tips. I've always had trouble managing my time wisely - I'm a big procrastinator - and that creates a lot of stress for me and gets me in a lot of trouble sometimes. This book has a great perspective and has tips that I've never thought of before that actually do help me. If you have trouble with time management, this is a must read. Very well written and effective tips; highly recommended.

4.0 out of 5 stars Mostly common sense March 9, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
While the info is good it is very short. His header inside the books says 100 tips so it is poorly
edited. I would not classify this as a book but a booklet. His best piece of advice is to spend
more quality time with your children and your family. I don't think that the 2.99 price is not warranted.
.99 cents makes more sense for this very short booklet.

Was okay. I guess I expected more from this book. It seemed kind of boring and something I've read before

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Tips March 6, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book contains good tips that can help motivate you to manage your time better and be more productive. However, I'm not sure that it is enough to merit the purchase of a full book. Most of these tips can be found online with a quick Internet search. Other than that, though, the advice is good and is also up to date (in other words, it includes advice on managing technology).

A very quick read that can motivate you to get up and get things done.

More About the Author

I am passionate about writing books that help people succeed in life. I am a songwriter who loves to play the guitar and sing. I love taking long walks on the beach and fishing. I have three wonderful kids.

I always try to live my life with an attitude of gratitude. One of the things I say often is, "it's good to be alive." I believe in the power of living in the moment and enjoying every minute of the moment. Fearing the future or regretting the past, those things don't fit very well in my life. Honestly, every day at some point, I walk by a mirror and tell myself that I'm awesome.

Thanks for checking out my books and my bio.
