Review
This is a solid text; I would support it for adoption. The three main factors in my decision are that it provides an integrative approach to Management and Organizational Behavior, it covers the important topics with respect to these disciplines, and it generally includes clear explanations of these topics.
The manuscript does a great job of balancing OB and Management. I have influenced the purchase of more than 3500 copies of books in this area during the last decade or so and this is THE book that I would recommend if one were to seek to include Management in their basic class - and possibly for any general Management or OB course.
My general impression is that this is a very good manuscript. It is well-written, comprehensive, and carefully researched. I think it will result in a very good and widely adopted text. I would certainly consider using it.
The authors use a sound approach to the study of Management and OB. I especially like the way they address multiple levels of analysis. This is something that is too often ignored.
