If you have to read a book for promotion, this is better than many. It flows well and is not too rigid. It gives clear examples and a good summary at the end of each chapter.

I was tasked with reading this for a promotional test. It has lots of good infomation and makes for an easy read. Some of the chapters contain too much information making it difficult to retain but overall a good resource.

Good principles are only good if they can be applied. To be applied there needs to be a buy in from upper management and mid-line supervision. Treat people fare and pay attention to the little things and you will be successful. Model the behavior you seek and you will find success. Find it used or borrow a copy.

This was a better alternative to purchasing from the school. Excellent condition and couldnt complain. Thank you for a wonderful textbook.

I had to read this book for a promotional exam and found it very dry. After seven years of college I was once again reminded of what it was like to read something and completely forget what I just read moments earlier. Could be more Law Enforcement friendly. I felt like this book was seriously "Out of touch" with the reality of police work on several occasions. There were some good parts in this book, but overall it was poorly written. I really felt sorry for those who had to read this book that did not have college experience.

I received this book in a timely fashion, but it was not as new as it was posted online (even though it said used, but in good condition or fairly good condition). The edges of the book were bent and the top right corner of the front cover looked as if it had been bent back a little bit producing a crease in the cover.
