Ethics should be taught sooner than college!,

This ethics book is a good comprehensive read. I needed this text for my college course on business ethics. It has definitions, case examples. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a core foundation of ethical understanding.
I really believe that with all the pressure on today's kids to get good grades and "make it" in the business world, a formal ethics class should be offered starting in junior high!

Excellent book! Breaks things down very differently from other Business Ethics text books. Easy to find information and it is well written and presented. A must read for anyone wanting to learn about Business Ethics!

This was the prescribed text for a first year course in my MBA program. The text is full of real life examples which make this a better read for such a dry topic as this.

I had this book for a class I took. This book is horrible. I honestly didn't think it was well organized and it did not read like a textbook at all. It gave a lot of ethical examples but with that it got old reading very fast. I would not recommend this book to anyone who is just trying to pick a business ethics books. I don't even recommend it for a class. Its that bad. Sorry, just my opinion

Great book, practical, realistic. Easy to read, once you start you don't want to stop, it provides a lot of information about ethics in business, and how companies are affected by how they handle ethical matters.

The book was in very good condition, but it took a very long time to get here. By the time it got here for my classes, I had already had to buy the book from somebody else who had an extra because I had to start doing homework assignments. I expected it to be here on the earlier side rather than literally 20 days after ordering, especially because it was sent within the United States.

I received the book on time and in the expected condition. It all seems to be fine so no complaints.

I ordered this book and was told it was international...I've learned alot from the seller regarding international books and the savings in purchsing them, and it's even greater to know that Amazon has a UK site. I'm very satisfied, just what I ordered.

I purchased this book for an Ethics class I am taking in graduate school. Great book, but I should have purchased the 5th edition which is slightly different.
If purchasing this text for a class you may need a later edition. Both have a lot of good information for managing ethics.

Poorly Organized, Poorly Written.,
This review is from: Managing Business Ethics: Straight Talk About How To Do It Right (Paperback)
Nobody likes this book in my classes that I'm in. It's dry, repetitive, and flat-out awkward to read at times.
The examples are the only interesting part of the book, but they are few and far between. The rest of the text is just useless fluff. |
