5.0 out of 5 stars This book is one of my most important, January 28, 2008

This review is from: Managing Herpes: Living and Loving With HSV (Paperback)
This book has helped me so much. I thought my partner and I were the only ones with herpes. This book made it clear that isn't true. I'm making my boyfriend read it now too.
My two favorite chapters ar "Telling a Partner" and "Treatment Options." Those two chapters alone saved me - I was too scared in the beginning to even talk to him and then this book helped me decide what medicine I should use.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent resource, March 29, 2009
This review is from: Managing Herpes: Living and Loving With HSV (Paperback)
As a sexuality educator for the American Social Health Association's STI Hotline, I have found this book to be an invaluable resource. Managing Herpes is a thorough, sensitive, practical, and down-to-earth guide for those diagnosed with a HSV infection, partners of those with herpes, sexuality educators, and other sexuality professionals. It debunks common myths and empowers readers with accurate information about transmission and treatment, up-to-date research, and guidance for managing both the practical and emotional aspects of herpes infection, including communicating with partners.
