I needed this book for my classroom management class, and so far it's the only book that I had to get this semester that I actually enjoy reading.

I am an Assistant Principal at a K-8 School in Florida. Ms. Ridnouer's book provides teachers with practical strategies for teaching with compassion. After reading, Managing Your Classroom With Heart, I contacted Ms. Ridnouer and invited her to be the keynote speaker at our school at the beginning of the year. We bought books for all of our teachers and adopted the theme of "Teaching with Heart." Ms. Ridnouer launched our school year with a wonderful presentation and message for our staff. I believe that her book has made a difference in our school. I highly recommend her book to all teachers.

Such a good read while planning for the upcoming school year. Great resource. I recommend it to others, especially those who have been teaching for awhile and need some inspiration.

This is the best book for teachers that I have read in years. Whether you're a new or a seasoned teacher, this book gives ideas with proven results in the classroom from dealing with obstinate misbehaved students to balancing the work load of today's teachers.

I have read countless books and materials that suggest ideas to support educators. This is THE BEST book! It nails it on the head! Every teacher from the first year to the last should be required to read it!

I needed this book for my classroom management class, and so far it's the only book that I had to get this semester that I actually enjoy reading. The author has a great conversational tone, and if I had the time I would just keep on reading it until I was done with it. On a scale of 1-10 for enjoyment, I would definitely say it's a 10, despite the odd, too-perfect dialogue and the context for guidelines that I can't quite figure out.
