Mancala is one of the most popular board games in the world, and one of the oldest; game boards have been found in Egypt dating back to 1400 B.C. It's a relatively simple game for two players that only requires counting, and it's very fun, for both kids and adults.
This is a particularly nice mancala board, and while it's a little bit pricier than other, similar mancala boards, it's well worth the money. The wooden inlay is beautiful; really top-notch craftsmanship. You'll have it forever... and to be honest, it will probably cost less than some cheap-o plastic and cardboard game that won't be as much fun and you'll only play a few times. This is a classic! |
