I almost didn't order this CD because it's for a birthday gift, and I was afraid I wouldn't receive it on time -- but what a surprise! I ordered it on very late on a Friday August 19th and received it by Monday, August 22nd!!! Very very happy about this. Fantastic service.

Manchester has an aura about it that just doesn't leave you. From the opening track "Texas Cops" to the haunting "South Hill" to the conclusion "Raised and grown" this album tells a story of life, that like on his other albums have brought tears to a grown mans eyes. I actually sat down and played it a second time through after it was done. For not wanting to be, or go on any "Major label" record, Tim Barry has captured an underground folk/punk/country crowd by storm, and it doesn't end here.
I highly recommend the album, but I even more highly recommend that you search him out to see him play live, his performance is fantastic and the crowd becomes a small family by the shows conclusion...
