We are using this for a second-grade Native American report. This book is excellent for an early research project: photographs, illustrations, and clear text.
For a creative project, we are building an earth lodge using instructions from the Kaleidoscope Kids Lewis and Clark book. [That book also has instructions for making a Mandan bull boat.] |
