Such a Sad, but good, Mystery for Mandie, August 14, 2005
This review is from: Mandie and the Angel's Secret (Mandie #22) (Paperback)
"WOW!" was all I could say after I read this book. It was one of the best Mandie books, though it was very sad.
Mandie's trip to Europe ends sooner than she thought. Her grandmother rushes them home, but sadly Mandie has to say good-bye to Jonathan. Mandie's grandmother won't tell her what is going on. When Mandie arrives to her home, the surprise is not at all good. :( And, what did she really see that night, surely not an angel..or was it? I am a big Mandie fan, and this book is very good, with all the trouble going on, Mandie still puts trust in the Lord, which is my favorite part!! Great book!! :)

Sad...But A Thrilling Mystery, January 11, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Mandie and the Angel's Secret (Mandie #22) (Paperback)
When Mandie, her best friend, and her grandmother return from their trip to Europe, Mandie expects something is wrong. No one tells her anything, but when she returns home, her house is full of strangers dressed in black. When she finds that her baby brother has died, and her mother is near death, she blams her grandmother for not telling her. This book is full of emotions, but a side from those there is a thrilling mystery to be solved.

Really good... but sad..., November 25, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Mandie and the Angel's Secret (Mandie #22) (Paperback)
I enjoyed reading this book and thought it was very touching. It was a shame about Mandie's little brother... she never got to know him. I also thought it was sad when Mandie and Celia had to say goodbye to Jonathan. I enjoyed reading about their adventures in Europe and I will miss his character in the upcoming books. I hope the author will continue writing about him in future books (in addition to "Mandie and Jonathan's Predicament" and "The Unwanted Gift"). Despite the sad events in the book, it had a happy ending with the mystery of the angel solved. This was a very good book. I'd advise anyone, regardless of age, to read it and all the other great Mandie books!
