Great great great great!,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Mandie and the Mysterious Fisherman (Mandie, Book 19) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is a wonderful Mandie book. I put off reading it for a while, but then i did and i couldn't put it down! I read it in less than 2 days! The next country that Mandie, Jonathan, Celia, Senator Morton, and Mrs. Taft are scheduled to visit is Antwerp, Belgium. Once there, they find that a painting has been stolen from an art museum, and the thief cannot be found. Furthermore, Mandie and her friends here eerie moaning noises from an old, dilapidated fishing boat on the warf. They find a man named Alex there, who is grieving because he thinks he killed his family. Mandie and her friends make constant getaways to the old boat to explore. They even find a long stone tunnel, a shortcut to the warf from their hotel. There they uncover a smuggler's loot. I absolutely love Mandie and I plan on reading every single one! In this book, Jonathan grins mischievously 15 times; I counted! It's ridiculous! Mandie is great and I recommend her books to everyone!

My Review,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Mandie and the Mysterious Fisherman (Mandie, Book 19) (School & Library Binding)
My mystery book that I chose was `'Mandy and the Mysterious Fisherman'' In this book two girls named Mandie and Celia, and a boy named Jonathan. They are visiting Europe and they come across a wharf and it has a very old deserted looking boat. So of course, the three go after the boat but when they get near it they always hear a creepy, moaning noise. One night they find someone in the boat and they also see someone talking to the man and they find out his name is Alex. Then they think they have found a criminal, not Alex but the man that was talking to him. Indeed they are right. So all in all, they helped Alex and they got the criminal in jail and it was all because of Mandie, Celia and Jonathan. The main character is Mandie. She is a very action seeker. If I were to describe her as to how she acts I would have to say a risk taker. I said that about her because she will risk almost anything to solve one mystery. A problem that Mandie has is that she wants to figure out what that noise is and her grandmother thinks differently because her grandmother wants to take her sight-seeing. All Mandie wants to do is solve this mystery. In able to solve this mystery Mandie has to work an agreement with her grandmother. Like on one day she will sightsee and on the next they can do whatever they want. I would surely recommend this book to other people because it is a great mystery book. I sure did enjoy it and if I gave it to someone else I'm sure they would like it, too.

I think this book was great. One reason I liked it is I could see myself doing some of the things that Mandie was doing. So really I could relate to the book alot.
