5.0 out of 5 stars One-in-a-million!!!!!!!!!, July 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Mandie and the Trunk's Secret (Mandie, Book 5) (Mass Market Paperback)
I really liked this book because it was filled with mystery from begining to end. Who is the girl in the picture? What two couple wrote the love letters to each other? What of diamonds? I can't tell you because you'll have to go read it and find out for yourself. It's a sequel to Mandie and the Forbidden Attic. So whoever loves that book should definitely read this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mandie and the Forbiden Attic, December 7, 2001

This review is from: Mandie and the Trunk's Secret (Mandie, Book 5) (Mass Market Paperback)
The reason I read this Mandie book was because her name was the same as mine, spelt the same and everything. But, When I read this book i felt like i was really apart of it. When Mandie meets April the discriptions the author uses makes you really hate her, even though she is not a real girl. When Mandie goes off to this school and has to meet all these new people it is scary. When she and Celia hear the noises in the attic you the author makes you want to go up in the attic too. But one reason i really like the books is Mandie's relation ship with God. the way she trust him really makes you relize it is all in his control. I told my friend about this book and she is hooked on Mandie books too. I guess this is really a review over all the Mandie books!

All Mandie books inspire me. Now, whenever I'm scared, I just say "What time I am afriad, I will put my trust in thee." I have read almost all of the books.

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful book!, August 25, 2003
This review is from: Mandie and the Trunk's Secret (Mandie, Book 5) (Mass Market Paperback)
In the previous book, Mandie and Celia got in trouble for investigating noises during curfew hours. As a punishment, Miss Patience has given them the task of cleaning out the dirty attic.
But Mandie and Celia don't mind. They want to find out what's in a blue trunk that Hilda was banging on. But to their great disappointment, they can't find the key!
But Mandie won't give up. She is determined to find out what's in there, even though it might get her and other people in trouble.

Somehow, this book didn't seem as good as the other ones. I still rate it 5 stars, but it wasn't as catching as the other ones.
One of Mandie's great faults is rushing into things without thinking of how her actions might affect others. And that fault is glaringly evident in this book. But hey, nobody is perfect.
But this book is still good. It's another great addition to the Mandie books, and I recommend reading them all.
