5.0 out of 5 stars I always buy it
For longer to medium hairstyles
It's sticky waxy. Works well with dry/moist hair.

I always buy this one. It's an everyday item for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars It's alright
Personally the smell of this version is a lil bit more rubber.
For me, this product is much sticker to apply. It really does make my hair heavier.

However, it does hold up pretty well.

This is a good product if you like doing your hair. I bought it to do my hair in an asian style and this product is the best hair wax I have come across.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's for waves not spikes people., January 3, 2012

Loose shuffle is for waves! it's stickier than the 2 people used the most (purple and pink) because this product was meant to add volume and waves into your hair. Its texture is exactly like mixing gel with wildshake(purple). Also it doesn't add weight like a lot of people say. It's lighter than purple and pink. Buy it for waves!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for more clean casual hairstyles., December 24, 2011

This review is from: Mandom Gatsby Moving Rubber Loose Shuffle, 80 g (Health and Beauty)
I am Asian and have semi-long, thick, wavy hair which I usually straighten before adding the Gatsby wax. There are times when I want a more clean casual hairstyle, and that's when I turn to Loose Shuffle. Basically, Loose Shuffle adds a slight wet look, keeps the hair weighed down, has a slight hold, and at least makes your hair ok to touch.

Because my hair is thick, it also tends to poof up after going through the flat iron. Loose Shuffle adds some weight, which helps to keep my hair held down for a more clean look. Exactly what I need for more formal settings. It also adds a slight wet look, which is good to get rid of the dry look that I get from putting my hair through the flat iron.

If you have thin hair and want the opposite effect, try Air Rise (Green).

And because it's not as strong of a hold as Spiky Edge (Red) and Wild Shake (Purple), people can at least touch your hair without having to worry about it feeling just weird. It also looks more natural since your hair strands are more loosened up in comparison.

4.0 out of 5 stars So-so, not for very fine hair, November 30, 2011

I prefer the green container to this simply because this leaves my hair looking greasier than the green container. I wouldn't recommend this for people with fine hair(obviously I'm not Asian.) Thicker hair types may be fine with this orange variety, the green just works better for me.

note: I've found very small varieties of this at the local asian market, so you might want to give those a shot before committing to a full size container.

Too gooy and soft to hold up hair. Would not order again. The purple jar is the best.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good not Great, February 6, 2010

Having purchased Gatsby products in the past I was counting on adding it to my hair array. I have a short layered spikey cut so hair "pastes" and pomades are a must. This product just didn't do anything for me, it seemed to disappear into my hair without adding texture or pieceyness. I'll stick with Gatsbys Spikey Edge Moving Rubber or the Matte Wax. This might be good for someone with fine hair just looking to add some minimum hold or light texture.
