I recall reading Clayton Emery's tales of Robin and Marian in EQMM quite a few years ago, and marveling at the daring idea of having the outlaw of Sherwood act as a Medieval sleuth. Unexpectedly it works, and works very well.
My only cavil is that the physical book seems to have been printed from an ebook, and the result looks rather primitive -- which may, I suppose, be fitting for a book with a Medieval sitting. |
