There is NOTHING better than reading of the history of our field! I havespent my considerable amount of years collecting and using classical Horsemastership books,this one is no different! Exceptional!! A must have for EVERY true Equestrian!

This book, sadly now out of print has been re-editioned by Xenophon Press in 2010. The ISBN number that you can search for on Amazon.com is 093331616X. The brand new Xenophon Press hardback edition includes Hilda Nelson's introduction, and is The Maneige Royal by Antoine de Pluvinel (English) (Wherein can be seen the Manner in which one Schools Docile Horses and everything that is required and neccessary to make an excellent and perfect Horseman according to the practices of his Academies)more reasonable at $95.
