5.0 out of 5 stars Great art and a fun story., January 26, 2009
This review is from: Manfred the Baddie (Hardcover)
I've really enjoyed John Fardell's other books (the "7 Professors of the Far North" series) so I was very interested to see what he'd do with a book for a much younger audience. Again, he didn't disappoint. The story is very simple: Manfred the Baddie is a very bad fellow until one day he learns a valuable lesson. Like all kids' books like this, it's short and to-the-point. My 5 year-old daughter LOVES this book and has even brought it to school to read to her class. It's one of those books that's fun to read together because it gives you the opportunity to make it more engaging by doing silly voices.
