I don't lose these often, but it doesn't hurt to have a few extra spigots in your camera bag when you are setting up lights in a low-lit wedding reception venue. The added bonus of the hole in the middle makes tightening/securing that much easier. Fantastic upgrade to the older version without the hole
Highly recommended!!

Four clams and change for a double ended brass bolt. I guess the weather was bad this year in those Sino/Italian bronze vineyards. As with all Manfrotto products these are well made and well finished. I use them for joining magic arms and other photo rigging. Take care; all of these style studs are made of brass or bronze, as these materials are inexpensive to mill, and can be designed so as to be unlikely to unscrew themselves in response to otherwise trivial amounts of vibration. But, they are not steel, and they will break, usually leaving a stub of brass inside a rather more expensive piece of equipment. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN. Observe reasonable weight limits. When possible, rig safeties for expensive equipment. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN.

When you need em you need em....these are awesome on the Manfrotto 420b convertible mini booms to keep a light head from twisting or turning when mounted in the boom arm position.

Very strong and sturdy. They last a long time. Just keep track of the brass pieces that come with it

It is what it is for. I had to buy it because it didnt come in the Manfroto 026 Swivel lite tite umbrella adapter. It seems it got lost somewhere during the shipping.

This item is great for a backup adapter or various other tasks that something like this could be used for. I bought this to add to my adapter collection just to have for needed situations.

To paraphrase Popeye, it is what it is. It is very nicely machined. What more do you need to know?
