When I purchased a new Manfrotto tripod/head, I was initially disappointed that my old tripod head wouldn't fit because the difference in screw size. This converter helped me out! It provides plenty of support and stability and does a good job of integrating the old head on to my new tripod. I got the functionality and versatility I was looking for - at a good price.

I need to switch between tripod heads, with one having 1/4" x 20 thread, and the other with 3/8" x 16 thread, and the tripod has a 3/8" x 16 thread. The Manfrotto 120 Converter makes it a snap to exchange heads. No need to have two different tripods. I'm a happy camper.
