Bud Rogers is a cartoonist and editor and has been very active in the Christian comics community for the past fifteen years. Bud uses his organizational and management skills to assist artists and writers in realizing their creative visions.
Young Shin Lee has a masters degree in Korean Studies, founded the Korean Cultural Research Center, and is currently serving at the Korean Defense Graduate School Church. He wrote The Manhwa Bible for the youth in his native county of Korea.
Jung Sun Hwang was born in Seoul, Korea, and has a bachelor of science degree in Architectural Engineering. In addition to The Manhwa Bible, he has drawn numerous books for the youth in his native country of Korea.

First I should say that it would be worthwhile for parents to review the page inserts on the publisher's home site as some may find the style & humor used in this graphic novel irreverent since this is a retelling of the bible as a comic with the author's own style / humor in it.I thought it was fine and it steps kids through the books so they know the people and events in a section of the bible that normally kids this age would normally skip with a few exceptions. We've read through children's bibles to cover these with our kids, but my six year picks this one up on his own. However, it is not a substitute for the real bible when they become old enough since knowing people & places does not constitute faith. In summary, I find it to be a fun complement to any child's religious experience with the old testament, but certainly not a teaching of the underlying principles and applications to their lives. That is left to parents (as it should be).

All these are great. The faster the guy writes them the better. My son hated to read at the beginning of the school year (early-August for us) and I am not kidding when I say these books helped to actually enjoy all kinds of reading. I bought the first one and two days later he asked me if there were more! Now he doesn't seem to mind reading books without pictures. It could just be he was ready to read more but I can't help but feel these books had something to do with it.
