Save a tree--use a cloth napkin. Instead of wasting thousands of paper towels and paper napkins each year, reuse these cheery cotton napkins and just wash them when they're dirty. They also help to dress up a table (pair them with the matching tablecloth and place mats). The apple design will work in any season, but especially during harvest time. As a collector of Franciscan Apple china, I have lots of matching linens in the Apple pattern. However, I like to use these cloth napkins for breakfast or brunch. They also are nice for using on picnics or for lining bread baskets. They are 100% cotton, so you will have to iron them if you want them to be wrinkle-free.
