Brilliant!,

This review is from: Manhattan Line by Line: A Subway & Bus Atlas (Map)
The author of the extraordinary "Manhattan Block by Block" is back with an incredibly detailed, information-packed book that solves the mysteries of public transportation (both rapid and not-so) in Manhattan. Especially useful for bus information, but great for subways as well. The book features maps of Manhattan showing streets, points of interest, subway routes, and bus routes--and then breaks every bus and subway route out into an individual strip map. Perfect size for purse or pocket. Amazing book--why didn't someone think of this sooner?

This review is from: Manhattan Line by Line: A Subway & Bus Atlas (Map)
Created by the author of "Manhattan, Block by Block" this new gem of a pocket sized guide to the eccentricities of the Manhattan bus and subway systems, will get you where you want to go. The maps and the keys to the maps are extremely clear, also providing additional information about each location and destination. It guides you through the rush hour, daytime and the late night service (did you know it is a 24 hour system?) and integrates above the ground with below the surface travel. You won't get lost with this in hand. I didn't! It's great!
