In this era of slick, over-produced "jazz" albums that are short on substance and long on hype, this is a breath of fresh air. These guys seem to invite us right into their living room with this swingin' accessable set of music. Every note is in the right place with pianist Joe Barbato, whose phrases almost sound like Sinatra on piano, and McCabe is bobbin' till the cows come home!
