Manhattan Toy Baby Whoozit

My daughter LOVES the Whoozit! She has the female version (pink body instead of blue). This toy has a red heart that makes the "crinkling" noise when you play with it. Because it is red and makes the noise it is my daughter's favorite part of the toy. Since she's teething, she loves to put it into her mouth and chew on it. Unfortunately, she was chewing on it one day in the grocery store when the red heart got lodged in her throat. She was not breathing at all. Luckily, I was right in front of her, noticed it, and immediately pulled out the toy. I just can't help but wonder what might have happened if I had not been standing right there with her when it happened. I've told several of my friends about this and they told me of similar stories they have heard from other people. From now on, I tuck the red heart into the inside of the toy (between the two body sections) so my daughter can't get to it. All the kids who I've seen playing with it seem to love the Whoozit, but the one crinkle piece is a choking hazard.

I love this toy, but more importantly, my baby loves this toy. We got it for her when she was 3 months old, and she has loved it ever since. I proceeded to buy almost every toy in this line because she loves it so much! My daughter, now 10 months, loves to play and chew on the hanging things, and she laughs at the face. It is also very portable, and is small enough to bring anywhere. It can be attached by the loop and velcro to almost anything. An absolute must for any baby!

I LOVE this toy!!! I received it as a gift before my son was born and it just sort of sat in the pile of baby toys I was accumulating. When he was just over a month old and really beginning to see things, I started pulling out toys to see if any would catch his interest. The Whoozit won out over all of them. He could grab the Whoozits arms even with his tiny hands and he gets older he "discovers" more about the toy and still enjoys playing with it. While the beginning age range is 3 months, don't wait! Our Whoozit is what seemed to draw my son's interest the earliest and it's a great toy to help with naptime and car rides.

I purchased the baby travel version of a whoozit when my daughter was 5 months old, as we could not take her big whoozit, which we had received as a gift, on a trip. What a hit! She loves this toy! It provides her with distraction in the car, and when she is in a fussy mood, she can play with this in her swing and actually fall asleep...allowing me to make dinner or better yet, EAT dinner! The design is a little too small for the dangling toys to actually be tucked into the pockets as with the larger whoozit, but she is so in love with just chewing on the pink donut and green crinkly triangle that tucking hardly matters. She really examines each dangling piece, though the donut is her favorite. It is wonderfully soft, and has a ribbon attachment (which she also seems to fancy chewing on) and it is just plain portable fun. No batteries necessary!!! I got her a whole set of whoozit toys for Christmas based on her fondness for this one, don't hesitate!

My son loves this toy! He loved the black and white side as a newborn and now he loves the colorful side. He loves to chew on it and shake it. Keeps him occupied - especially great for car rides.

I bought this for my 1st son when he was 4 months old. Although I only bought it because of a special deal on multiple toys by Manhattan, he LOVED this toy (MUCH more so than the Manhattan toy I really wanted)!!! This quickly became his favorite toy - the one we couldn't leave home without. It was one of only two toys that he would chew on. Although the instructions say surface wash only, I threw it in the washing machine on the gentle cycle (inside a linen bag) and let it drip dry numerous times. It turned out beautifully without any problems. My only complaint is that the velcro ribbon doesn't hold very well. I like the ribbon b/c my son loved to play with it & chew on it, but I couldn't secure it on his infant car seat/ stroller to prevent it from being dropped. Tip: I ended up attaching chain links to the doghnut so I could secure it (my son didn't seem to mind that it was upside down). Although my second son (at 12 weeks old) is not yet interested in the Whoozit, I'm looking forward to it being one of his favorites as well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOY!!

Love this little guy. The stars and the hearts attached to this toy are great rattles, and the red nose not only honks but also lifts up to reveal a mirror. This toy has had my sons full attention since I brought it home when he was only 6 weeks. Small enough to fit in a diaper bag and take everywhere with us. Also can attach to just about anything. I recommend this toy to every parent.

My daughter really loved this toy. We have a slightly different version of it but it is great nonetheless. I actually like this one better because it has a mirror under the nose. The B&W bullseye on one side is great for young infants who's eyesight is still developing. And then the face on the flip side is great for when their visions improves. She just laughs at it and loves sucking on the side toys. They are perfect for teething. I even took this and attached it to her bouncy seat bar or playmat - she liked it better than the toys that came with her bouncy seat and just played with this. When traveling to visit family, we bring it to attach to the crib rail and it gives her a little bit of home recognition. She loves it so much. She has enjoyed it since she was 3 weeks old - now she's 5 months. It's a great playmate.

My daughter picked this out when she was 3 months old and we were shopping. I kept holding up toys to her and this is the one that grabbed her attention! She's now 6 months old and loves it even more. I use a toy link to hook to her seat belt in between her legs in the car seat. (The velcro loop doesn't hold well.) She loves to put all the different shaped arms in her mouth. We love it!

This toy has provided hours of fun for my kids. It's great because you can hook it onto things and they can't throw it off. It's soft so they don't hurt their heads when playing.
