Beautiful and Entertaining,

I love the soft swishing sound that the beads make when my baby shakes this and it is really easy for her to hold with her little hands. She loves chewing on the beads and I love that this is completly made of wood so there is none of that PVC controversy.
This has been my baby's favorite toy for almost 3 months now (which is almost a record). I don't think any toybox is complete without this.

I purchased this as a birthday gift for a 1 yr. old that I nannied after watching her choose this toy time and time again at playgroups. It kept her interested for a long time and she never tired of it! The beads and strings are a favorite for little ones just learning to use their "pincher grasp" skills... I plan to buy it for my own little one!

I thought this toy was going to be a great hit but it has just been an average toy in a large collection of toys. As my daughter has grown, she has played with it infrequently for the past two and a half years. My youngest is now starting to infrequently play with it too. It is very well made and still looks new after some abuse. All in all, a good toy but not a giant hit at my house.

My daughter's only three months but she can grab this more easily than other toys. She likes to watch me spinning it, it's like a portable mobile. The sound is soothing, and it seems very safe--it's made so the balls won't come off even if the string breaks, and the string is very strong. Best of all, it looks great on the coffee table, I would have it there even if I didn't have a kid (I like the new colors much better than the classic, btw.)

We all love this toy! I thought it looked cool after youtubing some videos of it, so decided to go ahead and buy one. Me and my husband played with it for a little while before even giving it to our daughter. She was about 4months when we gave it to her, and the first day she was amazed, spent the whole day playing with it.
This toy is awesome because theres so many places she can easily grab it, and theres tons of wooden knobs, so it's easy for her to find one and get it in her mouth. She loves chewing on the knobs! It also makes lots of click clacking noises as it's being tossed around. She loves playing fetch with us with this thing, and she can toss it FAR! Now she smiles and kicks her feet in excitement when we're handing the toy to her. Great simple toy!

This was the first toy that my newborn son could really enjoy. He was three months old when I purchased this for him. The elastic bands are easy for him to grab and the toy is lightweight enough for him to pick up easily. The sound of the four beads sliding back and forth keeps him interested, and he loves putting the round knob ends in his mouth. The bright, cheerful colors are really modern looking and beautiful. This toy is also very well made. I use linking rings to tether this toy to his car seat and stroller so he can play with it wherever he goes. This is my baby's first favorite toy!

my daughter is 14 months old. I bought this to keep her entertained in the car on trips. It workes for about 1/2 an hour and then she has to go to something else but eventually comes back to it. We have to rotate toys a lot. I wish I could find something that would captivate her for hours but I guess she is just not that kind of kid. I really liked this toy and the sounds it makes when moved. It comes in a couple of diffrent colors. My daughter chews on it and it has really held up against her teeth.

Don't really know why this thing is so appealling to my son, but he loves to chew on it and squeeze the heck out of it. Not much more to say.

I bought this when my baby was about 4 months old - over 5 months ago. She handles it occasionally, but has never paid much attention to it.

I learned about the Skwish balls from our physical therapist--my infant son LOVED hers and would always grab for it in therapy sessions (she had a black and white one, which they don't seem to make anymore, but is especially great for very young babies because of the color contrast), so I decided to buy our own and both of my twin babies have played and played with it. Here's why I love it:-it's so easy for very young babies to grasp--great for hand-eye development -the colors and movement of the balls sliding on the elastic strings holds their attention for a surprising amount of time -they love to chew on it and it's made of safe paints and wood, so makes a great teething toy -it's pliable so they can't be hurt by it -as they get older, awesome to play "catch" with because it's so easy to grab -and (as I learned from our therapist) it can be washed in the dishwasher if needed! Definitely our most used baby toy (and I appreciate that it's not an electronic noisy toy or made out of cheesy, brightly colored plastic). This is my new go-to gift for baby showers. |
