I was really surprised to see how soft this doll is. She got it for Christmas from her Grandmother, and absolutely loves it. Right out of the package she was hugging her and cuddling her and taking out her "binky". It's such a nice skin color, too, especially since my daughter is biracial, and it's nice to have a doll that's close to her skin color.
The cloth "diaper" was a nice surprise as well, as was the little belly button. I'm really happy with this doll. I just wish I didn't know that she has clothes and accessories that we can purchase!

This was purchased for my daughter's first birthday. It just arrived in the mail about 10 minutes ago. Even though I am Caucasian, I do not like to buy blond haired blue eyed dolls. This doll's skin color is perfect and just what I wanted! She has a nice deep tan - same as mine, dark brown hair (not black) and brown eyes. If I had to racially classify this doll she would probably be considered Hispanic or Bi-racial. The quality is fantastic and she is very soft. My daughter's birthday is 2 weeks away and when she saw the doll she flipped out and wanted her immediately. I tried taking the doll to the other room (so I could give it to her on her actual birthday) and my daughter clearly became upset. So I removed Stella from the box and my daughter is laughing and hugging and cuddling her. I had no idea a baby could have so much fun with a doll!

Excellent choice for the 0-3 crowd--great for cuddling and I love the magnets in the pacifier (and the bottle in the feeding set). Great for teaching body parts, dramatic play, and nurturing.

I LOVE baby Stella dolls. I bought my daughter the "peach" colored one for her first birthday & we decided the "beige" would be perfect for my best friend's daughter. If i had one complaint it would be that she is a little darker than she is pictured. I searched the net for a picture of beige stella next to peach stella - so that i could compare but never found one. She is still the perfect doll and the magnetic paci keeps the kids entertained all through out church. :)

I bought Stella for my daughter last year for Christmas when she was one. She loves her so much that she sleeps with her every night. so precious! now we are adding to the collection with accesories this year. Great doll and one that she can identify with :)

This doll is very cute. It's soft. Love the details of the toes, fingers, belly button, and behind. My daughter kissed it the first time I showed her the doll when she was 9 months old . She's not as interested in it now as she is more interested in any toy her brother is playing with, but I'm sure if she ever becomes interested in girly toys, she'd like this one. It can be a little tough to get the doll to sit up by itself, but it's possible.

This item was exactly as it was represented on the website. My granddaughter got this as a gift when she turned 1 and loved it especially the magnetic Binky as she is very fond of her own and thought it was great that her baby had one too. Nice size and weight for a doll for a younger child.

I bought two of these dolls for my girls earlier this year. My daughters are now 21 months and almost 3. Neither is very interested in these dolls. My 21 month old will kiss hers and then throw it somewhere but she doesn't really play with it. My older daughter isn't interested in hers at all. The magnetic pacifiers are SO cute. I just wish they didn't have a tag on the side of them. I cut it off but now there is a sharp part of tag right along the seams. One of our dolls clothes does not fit either doll, they won't stay buttoned up. I think this doll would be better for younger children such as 5 months-15 months. I still recommend this doll, it is well made, just not my daughters preference.

We have two Baby Stella dolls, the infant with beige skintone, which my daughter received for her first birthday and the older Baby Stella with black pony tails and cream skintone, that my daughter received a year later at her second birthday.

Although the infant Baby Stella gets played with more and has been owned longer, she is in better condition than her light-skintone counterpart. The both have begun to show wear at the mouth where the pacifier magnet is placed, but it is not as noticeable on the beige baby. The lighter one shows a dark spot that won't wash off, almost like a bad mustache, above her upper lip. For both, I have found the vaccuum to be a better overall cleaning tool than spot washing, it's just that the lighter skintone shows so much more dirt... and these babies are brought everywhere.

I love both dolls for the softness and overall design. We also own several sets of clothes and the coat/winter set gets the most use in our house. The pajamas are snug and harder to get on, but not impossible. They are all functional, fun toys that get a lot of play ans we would definitely buy other products from this brand again.

I bought this doll for the little girl I watch. She has dark hair and eyes, so I picked this one instead of the blue eyed blonde baby doll. The description listed this doll as beige. It is clearly the black doll. I am fine with a black doll, so it should be listed at that instead of beige.

The doll itself is cute and soft.
