My two-year old is a huge robot fan (She has a "giant robot" that lives in her left hand). I hemmed and hawed over ordering this robot for her at Christmas because of the cost. I finally just decided to go for it and I'm so glad I did. It's worth every penny. Aside from simply being adorable and well-made, it is now part of my daughter's permanent stuffed animal entourage. She holds robot's hand when she goes up and down the stairs, she eats with her, and plays elaborate imaginary games with her. I highly recommend this toy!

Bought this toy for my 2 year old nephew for his birthday. His mom reports that he has been hugging it and playing with it ever since. The color is a sunny yellow and a very cute toy. Based my purchase somewhat on the previous review and so will add my positive experience.

4.0 out of 5 stars ugly, but my 5 month old loves it!, February 24, 2010

I was recently at a book store with my 5 month old son and as we were perusing, I came across a shelf full of stuffed toys. Feeling guilty for having lost my son's favorite giraffe toy, I placed each different toy in front of him and asked him what he thought. I didn't receive much response until I placed this robot in his stroller (it was the last thing I grabbed because I thought it was garish). I don't know if it was because of the size, or the contrasting colors, but my son's eyebrows furrowed and then he let out a squeal and giggled at it. So I brought it home.

My son has a lot of toys that he likes, but for some reason whenever he sees this thing he goes nuts. He talks to it, and rolls around with it and is constantly touching the different textures. I wouldn't say it's the most educational toy, but it's durable for a baby (though keep an eye on him because it has little "antennae" that a teething baby could easily chew off), and fun. Colors are a bit lighter than the picture shows.
