This little doll is perfect. We had seen the Groovy Girls line in the store, but her brother wanted to give his sister a "princess" doll. Her tiara, shoes, and tights are attached or sewn on to her (not going to be lost later). Her dress is removable, but easily closes with velcro. She even has a belly button! I think that the age it is recommended for is older, but our 18 month old loves the soft dolls and yarn hair (we don't let her sleep with any toys).

I bought this for my 3 year old because she loves princesses. I tried to find it in the stores buy no one carries the princesses. She has had a lot of fun playing with it and has even been able to sleep with it because it is very soft. It's good that the clothes are attached so you don't have to worry about losing them. We are definitely going to buy more groovy girls princesses to go with her collection.

I bought this doll for my 4 year old niece. She loves princesses and this is a big hit. She loves the clothes, the hair, the size and the belly button. She takes it with her when visiting Grandma because it's easy to carry. I recommend this.

this is a sweet little doll for your little girl. she is pretty small, but beautiful and perfect size for her to carry around. the hair was different than i expected, kind of like rough yarn. but it looks cute and all around a nice little doll for under $[...].

I bought this doll for my curly haired 3 year old and when she arrived, she did NOT have curly hair. The picture is deceptive. Very disappointed.

I bought this for our almost 2 1/2 year old as a Christmas present. I wanted her to have doll that she could imagine with, but not as grown up as Barbie at her age. She has had it for over a month and although she doesn't pretend play with it yet, she does sleep with it, and take it with her all over the house. She is fond of it and calls it when she can't find it. I like the detail, the softness and how well it is made. I look forward to buying more from Manhattan Toy Company for her.

My daughter loved this doll when we saw it at an airport shop, and wanted it for her birthday. It was hard to find, but this seller sent it quickly and she has enjoyed it a great deal.

I got this doll for my 7 y.o. daughter, and she really likes it. She likes sleeping with her dolls so Seraphina is perfect for that - she is very soft. The only thing is: our Seraphina doesn't have curly hair as in the picture.

As a previous reviewer stated this doll isn't the same as shown in the picture. The doll I received was (I'm assuming) an updated doll that they've made 'improvements' to. However, the reason I purchased this doll is because my daughter loved the one PICTURED at the play center. Upon receiving her very own doll she was less than impressed by it.

The differences: The new doll has blue eyes which I think make her look cheap and the hair is a much softer, more blonde and no curls at all. I find all the hair 'improvements' to be a negative. I liked the coarseness of the curly hair because when my daughter chewed on it it wasn't like her chewing on yarn. Now that's exactly what the new dolls hair is like. It is a very soft yarn though.

Other than those differences the doll is almost identical to the one pictured. The dress is almost identical. The quality and dimensions of the doll are the same So if the general doll is what you're looking for - she's what you'll get. I think if I had never seen the original doll I would be giving this a rating of 4. Having seen what the doll used to be, I have to say the manufactures went backwards with their improvements - and my daughter certainly wasn't a fan of the new one. In fact the play center let me swap - so now my daughter has their original doll and the center has a brand new doll. :)

this doll is soft and well constructed, her crown is very well secured and her dress is easy to remove and put back on. my daughter very much likes the fact that this doll looks like her with curly blond hair and blue eyes, i very much like that the doll's shoes and tights are attached and cannot be lost. hooray for a princess doll that isn't creepily proportioned, a doll that can be cuddled with, a doll that has a built in belly button!!
