Great Toy - Fun Sounds,

I highly recommend the Symphonic Stacker for any baby. My 6 month old loves it and has been playing with it for a few months already. The pieces are soft and chewable and the ribbons are mesmerizing to my little one. The sounds are fun and not at all obnoxious. A great product!

this toy is a stacking toy but with bright colors and taggies and sound effects!!! it is different enough from the norm to make it an interesting purchase

Started off as tactile and chew toys at 6 months (very sturdy--tags are great too), now at 11 months my baby is into the sound/stacking aspect. Fun colors, bright, well-constructed. Also the noises are different than most baby toys for kids this age, which makes this toy stand out in her pile of beep-and-blink plastic toys. A nice hybrid between a hip concerned parent educational toy and the fun noisy plastic stuff with bells and whistles.

Visual Interest and Unique Sounds,

This clever toy is visually appealing and catches baby's interest with the different sounds made when each ring is placed on the peg. The "sproings and rattles" are not loud or annoying, so this is a good toy for quiet time. Constructed with quality materials, I can see why this toy was an award winner. Why only 4 stars? My grandson is an all-action little guy who doesn't stay in one place long enough to play with it.
Con: The on/off switch for the sounds is hard to find.

Babies are not amused by Symphonic Stacker,

This review is from: Manhattan Toy NooBoo Symphonic Stacker (Toy)
I purchased a Symphonic Stacker for my granddaughter, 3 years ago, when she was 1 year old. She did not pay any attention to it, and was not interested in stacking the disks, nor did she care if I stacked them. Her disinterest persisted - she is now 4 years old, and has never actually "played" with the toy. Her new little sister is 1 year old now, and she also ignores the Symphonic Stacker. It looks cute to grandmas, but has no appeal to little girls.
