Even though a couple of the tracks are based on the same buddhist mantra (om mani padme hum);the mantra is so beautiful and calming and chanted wonderfully that you don't get bored.All the other tracks including the instrumentals are all great,ALLtogether wonderful for meditation,chanting and just simple lisening!!

Whenever the day seems too long or the eternal journey endless - put
this CD on...it will take transport you beyond these realms on a magical carpet ride!....indescribably superb!...heavenly poetry for the spirit!

This is a beautiful CD, very peaceful and soothing, mixing multiple musical styles. I have it programed as the music I wake up to. It helps me to start my day in a positive, reflective way.

This is a great album. The songs are beautiful, the recording is great. It is one of my favorite for yoga. Definitely recommend it, can't go wrong if you like calming yet inspiring music for meditation or yoga.

This is a really beautiful CD, very soothing, although all the music is based around the two mantra melodies it is nonetheless worth having- great for chanting, singing, doing yoga or relaxing :) enjoy!

There are probably better CD's out there, but if I had to be on a secluded island for eternity and could only have one CD this is the one I would take out of my entire collection. It calms me whenever I am feeling out of control and stressed. Try it it really works and continues to work over the years. I have probably listened to this album more than any other one, Buedi is a genius of the musical and spiritual.

I find it hilarious that some people rated this CD poorly based on the fact that the chants were repetative. Chants are SUPPOSED to be repetative. That's why they're chants. Ideally they would have them repeat 108 times.

As the CD is called Om Mani Padme Hum, it's safe to assume that this has different varieties of this chant.

This CD is more "westernized" in the sense that there is new age music involved in much of the CD. Because of the different music variousions I don't like using all of these for my meditation practice, as I prefer simpler music for that, but they are relaxing nevertheless.

Very peaceful. Beautiful extrapolations of a basic Buddist chant. Greatest appeal would be to the Western European ear, I think.

Great music to play when a little stressed. I have this on my mp3 and make sure it is with me when I travel. This will put you in a good place!

Many of the tracks are exactly the same and even those that aren't are so similar that there is little variety in these offerings. These recordings are definitely oriental in style and since the tinny, twangy, and hollow sound doesn't really appeal to me, I just am not very excited about this CD. I will most likely be giving it away to someone who might enjoy this sound more.
