This Alien figure is great! It may not have as many joints as the Predator the Hunter figure that's also in MM6 but the articulation makes up for that! The tail is endy, the legs are ball joints, the wrists move, the neck is a ball joint... I also got a Kenner Alien figure but it dosen't come close to this. The articulations go right down to the tiny tendons on the alien's cheeks and detailed ribcage. The only problems are the tail might snap off and the aliens don't exactly fill someone with knowledge

What can I say? The tale is bendy, the body is detailed, the size is just right, this is the best alien toy EVER! Really, it may seem like just a collectible display piece, but it's actually a fun-house just waiting to get out of the box. So don't listen to those weirdo's who say you can't play with it without braking it, KNOCK YOURSELF OUT!

I must say that hearing how un-durable McFarlane is, I beg to differ. I mean, this thing can get hung onto a big golden fork (literally, it can, I've seen it) and still be in good condition. Plus, I highly recommend this toy for anybody who is as addicted to the alien movie franchise as I am (and even for people who don't like it a lot.) Trust me, you will not, I repeat, will NOT be sorry you spent the money on this. Take my word for it.

Like all the Movie Maniacs 6 series, this Alien Warrior figure has outstanding detail on it. While I absolutely love the Alien film franchise, I personally despise the movie Alien: Resurrection, but I have to admit that this particular figure does the creature some justice.

The articulation on it is not quite as fluid as, say, the Alien from the Alien vs. Predator box set, but it still has multiple points of articulation that allow for multiple poses. The bendy tail is extremely long and can be positioned in any number of ways. Despite the fact that it doesnt have much articulation, the amount of detail on it is actually rather amazing. Although I wasn't a fan of the movie, this Alien admittedly does have alot of features that set it apart from the others. Taking on a more organic appearence, this alien is a bit more 'fleshy' than its more bug-like counterparts. The top of the skull is also so smooth that it gives off the illusion of having a slimy texture.

Overall its a great fig and should fit well into your Alien/Predator collection. Don't pass it up!

I love this figure it's got great detail and articulation.I have always wanted Movie Maniacs to make alien figures because I love the movies,I don't care for the movie Alien ressurection though, but it's my favorite looking alien.I recomend you get this it's well worth it!

I love Alien. Let's get that straight first. I'm a fan.
So I was very excited with McFarlane's incursion into the Alien universe. Now that I've had this figure and played with it for a while, I cansay that I'm very happy with it.
Like all McF aliens (and predators for that matter) this is not accurate. The hands are all wrong, the head's a bit too small, the feet are also wrong and, in general, most of the creature has slight changes in appearance.
Nothing major, mind you, just little things that are annoying to a hardcore fan like myself.
But back to the review:
The sculpt is beautifully done, as well as the paintjob (although there are a few issues, like the seam along the creatures head). Articulation is so so, but given the original, there wasn't really much that could be done. What articulation it has though, is very good for achieving different poses.
This is a really fun toy, and if you're even slightly interested in the Aliens universe, get this or you'll regret it.

When I saw The Movie Predator 2 a couple of months ago my head went the hook starting to love Predator then i got a video game called Alien v.s. Predator 2. Then I though how cool would it be if they had action figures of these awesome aliens in the battlefield and you can do any with them.Now people most say the you cant play with them, will you can and they stand perfectly on their own. there is two things bad about this action figures. One is they arent very fun unless you get a PREDATOR and Queen. Two is that that in my taste I like the hive alien that you would see in the movie Aliens, but that doesnt really manner. The thing is that this action rock but you should get a PREDATOR it makes the battle somuch fun, but if you dont whats there to battle? Get

Trust McFarlane to give fans a decent Alien figure. Excellent detail and articulation. Nice and creepy. The "bendy" tail is a great touch. Well worth the...price.

However, make no mistake-- this is NOT a toy! It's not fragile, but definitely a "display" piece.

I just wish that the original/classic Alien (H.R. Giger's original design) was available as an individually packaged figure-- instead of part of a "deluxe" set.
