I see there are a lot of claims that the color doesn't come out after following the directions. I assume these reviewers only left in the dye for the "15-30 minutes" that the included instructions recommend- DO NOT DO THIS. Leave the stuff in for an hour AT THE VERY LEAST. I imagine it would just wash right out if only left in for 15 minutes! I recommend leaving it in for 2-3 hours if you have the time (overnight, with a showercap on while you sleep is even better!). The great thing about this stuff is that there are no side effects to leaving it in for a longer processing time. Be patient, and the color should last 2 months no problem.

Also to achieve the EXACT color, you're going to either have to have light blond hair, or bleached hair. I have naturally dark brown hair, and I usually just have to bleach it twice. (First bleach job gets me at a orangey color, then I wait a couple days and bleach it again to a deep gold) I throw in Hot Hot Pink and it looks great! It comes out a little more deeper than pink. I've bleached it a third time before to a yellowy blonde and then used toner, and that gets an actual hot pink color really well.

If you expect to have Hot Hot Pink hair instantly in 15 minutes, this isn't going to happen. And it definitely won't work if you have darker hair and aren't willing to bleach. But if you're willing to do the work (it's really not that much lol) the color is amazing!

This produced an incredibly rich and bright magenta. In certain lighting it had a semi blueish sheen to it which looked really cool, in a barbie hair kind of way. It's really intense but still fades to a pretty pastel pink in about two weeks. It's also much more susceptible to fading with heat than alot of other colors but the result was really pretty either way.

I've tried all kinds of pink dyes and this is by far the longest lasting!

I bleached part of my hair and used this color it came out great! Very brite just like I wanted. It gradually washes out but even then it fades to a pretty light pink. TIP - Don't condition your hair before putting the dye on or use it on dry hair, that is how I always do it.

So i ordered This and out it in my hair. i already had bleach blond hair when i did it. And it works great but its just not for me. it's just way too Bright looks like it should be able to glow in the dark. So next month after it fades out some i gonna order the Manic Panic Pretty Flamingo.. i think its called. Thats more of the Shade of pink i want now.
A little tip for when you put it in. i left mine in for about 3hrs even tho it only says 15-30 mins. and if you keep yours in as long as i did. i kinda starts to drip a little. it lest it did in the back. and turns into a shiny jelly looking goop. so what i did was i got a hair dryer and set there and dried by hair with it while it was still on there. i did that off and on for the last couple hrs.
And when you wash it out. make sure you scrub really really good. i just washed mine out in the sink so i did not wash it that good. then when i went to sleep i woke up with my pillow case all pink lol.
So ya just make sure you scrub good and it well get it all the extra out so it wont rub off on stuff.
It's really easy to put on by yourself. Normally when ever i dye my hair i have my mom do it. But i did this alone and i saved a little of it in the jar so incase after i washed it out i found a part i missed or something. but i got it all in the first go. so im either just gonna hang on to the little i got and do a streak maybe one day in the future when my hairs another color. or give it to one of my friends and they go do a streak or bangs or something.

I love it! I put some bleach streaks in my hair and then painted on the Manic Panic, let it sit for an hour,washed it out,and I have these dark pink highlights that look really great, especially in the sunlight. Everyone tells me how much they like it!
I love that the product is vegan!
I did have to delete one star tho, because the stuff is a mess. Bathtub is now pink, and I am a renter...
and when I go to the gym and sweat on the treadmill, I am not at my most attractive, what with pink streaks going down my face and neck...Yikes it bleeds out forever!
BUT I love the look and I now want to try other colors.
In case anyone is wondering, I am over 30,and I think these fun colors are adorable no matter my age!

I've been using manic panic for over 15 years (ouch- this shows my age!) and I've never been disappointed.
Granted, I'm blonde, so the color shows up great every time- I think you need a color stripper if you have dark hair, but the color faded really slowly and looked fantastic the entire time- even as it faded!
Everyone loved it and I got tons of compliments.
Try it out- you won't be disappointed!

Definitely brighter and longer-lasting than the original Manic Panic line, but just as easy to use. Nice stuff, worth the additional money if you're planning to have your color in for a while. The Hot Hot Pink in particular is brilliant; I've been toning it with a little bit of purple, and it makes a stunning magenta that you can see from across the room. Really excellent product.

This is the best hair color dye ever! I love the variety of colors in the "Amplified" collection, which last longer and have more pigment than the regular Manic Panic. I also love that it is healthy for your hair since it is made of natural ingredients. The Amplified Cotton Candy Pink is so pretty. I mix it with a drop of Hot Hot Pink. First I bleached my hair to a medium/light golden blonde, rinse, and then apply this color right after while my hair is damp. It comes out with shine and all kinds of pink- orangey pink shades with the Cotton Candy color being the majority. I love to dye my hair this color in the summer.
