I love this product! I have black hair and wasn't sure if it would be enough of a contrast with this color but it definitely worked out! The bleaching process was kind of annoying and I didn't get the white blond that I wanted, and yet this blue hair dye showed through the orange-yellow color. It definitely turned out blue, this product is great!!! Oh yeah, it lasts! I dyed it about 3 weeks ago and it's still in there!

I love this dye, I bleached my hair and applied this afterward and because I didn't bleach to a uniform color I ended up with really beautiful color. If blue could be natural that's what this would look like. Highlights and lowlights and very beautiful! I have hair like a peacock! Dark blue, electric blue, aqua, and some green in certain light. It was simple to use and as an added fun factor since it's demi-permanent, it changes with every wash. You have to try this stuff.

I dyed this color over my medium blonde hair. I let it sit for a few hours, then dried it with a blow dryer before washing it out. The heat seems to make a difference with getting the color to set, so I highly recommend that you do it that way.

The color came out great, and has lasted a long time. It came out blue/green because my hair is kind of yellow.

Shocking Blue came out way better than Bad Boy Blue did on my unbleached hair.

This color (Shocking Blue Amplified) is not as beautiful as their Ultra Violet or a few others, but it covers really well, the color is extremely vivid, and it lasts longer than any other shade of Manic Panic (I've used every blue, purple, green, and about half the reds they make). Manic panic is easy to use, but you will need a tint brush. It's non-toxic and doesn't burn your hair or oxidize, so you can leave it on overnight and sleep with a shower cap over it to get really intense color. This shade doesn't seem to need to be on that long, though. I recommend bleaching first, since it's hard to get the colors to show up on unbleached hair. Most of the time with blue, you will get green tones in your hair if you don't bleach all the way to pure white first. With this shade, that didn't happen. For me it lasted almost two months before it was faded enough that it looked bad. Strangely, instead of turning lighter or that gray-green color that most blue dyes do after they fade, it actually turned darker over time, almost brown.

Well I have black hair, I bleached it before applying this dye. My hair didn't get white but it was pretty well bleached(I used the same brand, the 40 vol manic panic). The color was darker than I expected, it was a dark blue...it was not what I wanted at all, but it still looked decent.
The color lasts very long time but not with the same intensity:showers, baths, pools, and beaches can take away most of the color,it will then look less dark (which I liked) and that lighter color can last for months. If you want to keep the original color I would recommend dying your hair during winter and not summer for obvious reasons stated above.
I like the product anyway, and will probably use another color in the future

I got this for halloween, dyed my beard with it, and it worked perfectly, it washed out in about 4 or 5 days.

Terrible! thats all I can say about this product, and a waste of money. Let me give you and idea of how much you will spend on this product how long you will wait and then I will tell you the end result. After shipping and everything came out to about 23$ then they have to "process" your order through the company so after 3-4 days latey they finally ship your order. I spent an extra lil dough to ship this fast and still didnt get it until about two weeks later, and this is what I got a lil ity bity jar and a certficate for a discount next time I order from them. Gee thanks! After that you have to go online just to get the proper instructions on how to use it then go out to buy latex gloves, vasline for your hairline so it wont stain your face and a "tinting brush". After all this grief I thought finally I will have a lil blue hair tint, because thats all I wanted I didnt want my hair to be as blue as a marker so I opted not to be the bleaching agent and I have medium-brown hair and it did say it would work on that, in the end after all that madness it turned my hair black and my scalp is the only thing that turned blue! Anytime any water would hit my hair here would come pouring out this blue water from my scalp and it got everywhere immean what a mess. Dont waste your time and money on this if you want blue hair or a blue-ish tint to your hair id advise going somewhere else, thats what im going to do. Oh and dont let that picture of the girl with blue hair fool ya she had to bleach all of her hair to get it to that color.
