Manifest will blow you away!, January 29, 2010

One of the best metalrecordings of recent years I think. Impaled Nazarene plays fast and straightforward full speed ahead black metal so after the prepare-for-battle intro it's one fast song after another. No breaks in between and all songs are equally great, even kind of catchy and bursting with the right spirit. Manifest hits you like a freighter until the very last song. It would be too much if the songs weren't so good. All of them! Manifest doesn't collapse anywhere. Take Seasons in the Abyss by Slayer for an example. Just flat out perfect! But lately? Very few bands that come close to magic. Impaled Nazarene did, with Manifest. Check it out.
