This product is a direct replacement for the factory item. Instructions are in German however if you look at how the original filter is before you remove it to replace it should be easy to get it in the correct way.

I bought my car used and didn't know how old the cabin filter was. There are u tube videos showing how to replace the filter(very easy). This filter made a big change in the interior smell of the car.
