Product Description

Mann-Filter elements are particularly friendly, as they are metal-free. They are made of one material and do not create ash when disposed of in a thermal process.

For anyone who doubts this filter is identical to a filter you would purchase at a BMW dealer, please see the "Customer Photos" where I have posted a side by side photo of a filter purchased at my local dealer and one purchased from Amazon.

I've used these a couple times on my 328i and will continue because they're 1/2 what the "steal"er, I mean dealer charges. These are genuine OEM. Enjoy!

It's the EXACT filter you would recieve if you bought at BMW dealership. You're just saving money by buying at amazon or other internet sources. Shop around. Find lowest price and buy a case. Good for the maintanance DIY car owner.

If you are changing your own oil on a BMW, maintenance cost must be a factor. The Mann filter is an OEM fit at 1/2 the price of a BMW dealer filter.

The best filter for a BMW , in my humble opinion. Have been using Mann every oil / filter change had no problems on my 1999 Z3 2.5L with this filter. Others, including NAPA Gold tend to be a bit restrictive. The only thing is, it is a bit too expensive here. The dedicated German filter [...] has the same thing dramatically (!) cheaper.

Mann filter is the OEM manufacturer for BMW oil, air, and micro filters. Want OEM quality without dealer prices? Buy this filter for your next oil change! I used it on my last oil change and it looked and felt EXACTLY like the OEM filter I took out of the car (except for the fact that the new one wasn't covered in motor oil).

If you want to use OEM parts on your BMW but do not want to pay OEM prices, then this is the perfect oil filter for you. It is the exact same Oil filter you would get at the BMW dealership. The only difference is that this oil filter is half the price.
