5.0 out of 5 stars Leading in cheese
This is my top guilty pleasure movie. It's so cheesy but I love it so much! It's goofy and without any realism but such a cute love story. Kristy Swanson is beautiful and William Ragsdale (lead male) is such a cutie! It also has the most beautiful version of the song "Can't Believe My Eyes" which sadly, cannot be found anywhere else.

1.0 out of 5 stars YOU CALL THIS A MOVIE?
People like me who've seen the first one know that this one was nothing but a money making ploy by the movie producers & people at the company. (Artisan Ent.??) THe first one had humor, heart, and that loveable, bumbling Felix & his dog Rambo. The sequel--if you can call it that--is unoriginal, unimaginative, and downright boring. They reused the same theme from the first...

You really have to be a tolerant soul to like this movie as much as I do - ok, so the premise isn't logical in any way, so what? It's fun, it's funny and the characters are great. Truthfully, and this is the only time this has ever been true for me, I thought this one was better than the first one - times 1000. In the first one, the blonde ancient egyptian put me over the edge. Sorry. I love this one, though. Kristy Swanson is one of those people you can just watch and remember...she's great as Jessie, the peasant girl who gets enchanted by an evil sorcerer and turned into a mannequin for a 1000 years. It takes a 20th century prince to bring her back to life. Hollywood is a great character, too. He's unbelievable, but exceptionally funny. I would suggest this movie to anyone who likes to laugh and enjoys a good old fashioned happy ending.

5.0 out of 5 stars This one's got it ALL!- action, comedy and romance!, June 1, 1999
By A Customer
This is a great film for all ages. It's the timeless tale of two star-crossed lovers destined to be together. Meshach Taylor returns as the hilariously sassy Hollywood Montrose. He brings an energy to every scene he is in. William Ragsdale and Kristy Swanson are great as the two star-crossed lovers. The movie has it all, comedy, action-adventure, and romance. It's a sassy, funny comedy; the perfect Friday night rental.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's about friggin' time!!!!, June 11, 2007
Well I am glad this movie made it to DVD at least an import for that matter. I haven't yet purchased this import DVD but if it is as good as those who have said it is, then they'd better be telling the truth because this is one movie IN AMERICA that I wish would RErelease it so I can get it. But anyway, it is still a good movie and though the first one was better than this one, this one still has the same flavor as the first. The only thing is, one returning cast member comes in this one and that Meshach Taylor as Hollywood Montrose. Also, the building PRINCE & CO. returns. In this Mannequin, William Ragsdale has two parts in the beginning of the movie as Prince William who falls for the Enchanted Peasant girl Jessie Kristy Swanson and when his mother the queen doesn't approve she dispatches Terry Kiser who has two parts Sorceror to put a evil necklace on her that would freeze her for a thousand years or until a true love can free her of the spell. Once that has happened, years have past and she ends up in a tour display and they say that the legend is not true but, a count by the name of Spretzel (also played by Terry Kiser) of the country this all originated from Homptman-Koenig, he tries to get her for himself. And a new employee at Prince & Co. where the presentacion as Hollywood pronounces it, takes place Jason Williamson (also played by William Ragsdale) discovers the Enchanted Peasant girl and sees she's come to live but at this point does NOT know that the necklace was the source of her freezing. And he does all he can to save her and falls in love with her at the end. There are some funny parts and there are some stupid parts but, still this movie does deserve a DVD RErelease and hopefully in America it will but right now it is an import and if this thing IS an ALL region as the seller is boasting then I want it!!!! I think Kristy Swanson is however very sexy in this.

4.0 out of 5 stars good sequel to MANNEQUIN, April 20, 2001

MANNEQUIN TWO - ON THE MOVE is just as enjoyable as the original, MANNEQUIN. We don't have Kim Cattrall and Andrew McCarthy, but Kristy Swanson and William Ragsdale are fantastic in the leads.

In the Bavarian kingdom of Hauptmann-Koenig, a peasant girl called Jessie (Kristy Swanson) falls in love with the Prince (William Ragsdale). As they cannot marry, they attempt to escape but Jessie is put under a wicked spell; given an enchanted necklace that once worn will turn her into a wooden mannequin for 1,000 years or until she meets a true love from another land.

1,000 years pass, and Jessie is on display in the Prince & Co department store as part of the worldwide "Enchanted Peasant Girl" Tour. New employee Jason Williamson (William Ragsdale) is immediately taken with her, and discovers her secret.

The whole cast is new, exept for Meshach Taylor who reprises his role of Hollywood Montrose. Great sequel, which is just as enjoyable as the original, if not more so.
