Exceptional Manners Made Easy is Magnificent,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Manners Made Easy: A Workbook for Student, Parent, and Teacher (Paperback)
"Manners Made Easy" is a wonderful user friendly, scripture based workbook, not only for children, but for all ages to learn the foundations of manners and etiquette. This workbook is exceptionally outlined to train students in topics such as etiquette, proper introductions, how to talk on the telephone and exceptional manners. This is a workbook that all families, schools (private or public), churches and youth organizations should have at all times.

Better for a bit older child,

I read the other reviews before buying this book. I will echo what they say in that this is a great resource for teaching manners in a variety of circumstances. My only other comment would be it is directed towards a child of about age 8 and up. While it can be manipulated and worked a bit to be for a younger age, it is my opinion that it is better suited towards an older child.

This book is great because it gives direct correlation with etiquette and manners to the Bible. This is great for me because I am teaching an etiquette class to group of pre-teens and teenagers at my church so it makes for great references and it is a curriculum that my pastor will sure approve.
Cannot find my previous copy and I am purchasing another! Thanks, June!

This book is great for young people. Easy to read, fun exercises that helps in remembering proper etiquette and manners, and appropriate pictures to reinforce what is being taught.

Beware-religious themed book,
This review is from: Manners Made Easy: A Workbook for Student, Parent, and Teacher (Paperback)
I am not sure how good the lessons would be if I taught in a religious school, but no where in the description did it say each lesson was themed around a particilar Bible passage. I had to send back!!! There would be no photocopying these pages for classes on good manners!

Heavy Bible agenda should be noted,
By Writewheel (Chicago, IL USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Manners Made Easy: A Workbook for Student, Parent, and Teacher (Paperback)
No where on the cover, or on the back cover, does this workbook mention that there's a "Bible Study" section of each chapter. Previous reviewers have danced around this politely by mentioning "scripture-based" and this is a disservice to the broader audience of Amazon.com.
This workbook should never appear as "another choice" with other manners books. It belongs in religious books and cross-linking with the likes of "365 Manners Kids Should Know" is shameful. If I could return it, I would. Good manners are not the exclusive province of Christianity.

RUBBISH! NOT WORTH THE ONE STAR REVIEWING FORCED ON ME,
By LADY LUCINDA (FL, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Manners Made Easy: A Workbook for Student, Parent, and Teacher (Paperback)
THERE WAS NO WARNING THAT THIS BOOK TRIED TO RELATE GOOD MANNERS TO THE CHRISTIAN BIBLE. AS IN POLITICS, THE TWO SHOULD NOT BE PARTNERED. CHILDREN SHOULD BE TAUGHT GOOD MANNERS WHATEVER THE FAITH OF THEIR PARENTS/PARENT/GUARDIAN ETC AND SHOULD BE TAUGHT TO BE POLITE TO PEOPLE OF ALL OR NO FAITH. THIS BOOK COULD BE VERY OFFENSIVE TO PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT CHRISTIAN, APART FROM BEING USELESS. I HAD INTENDED TO READ THE BOOK MYSELF AND THEN GIVE TO A 6 YEAR OLD GIRL ~ I DONATED IT TO GOODWILL.
