Well, I think I get something new out of this book each time I read it. It lives in the book basket in the bathroom at our house, and it is full of very succinct helps.Where this book excels is that it makes it clear that MANNERS are the way you show respect for and interest in other people. What sets it apart is the non-preachy way it instructs. This is a good one for kids 10-years-and-up to read by themselves. You can introduce these lessons much earlier with your kids. I like this book because it reminds me what I need to be teaching. If you are raising a young lady or gentleman, this book will surely help.

All the little things you wanted to know put together in a book that is easily read .This book gives you short to the point lessons for grandchildren or children .As an adult it was good to get explanations on foods on the menu and proper settings for silverware.

I purchased this book for my Sunday school class. It had great ideas and examples to share. I believe that my class learned something on manners.
