This review is from: Manners and Praise (Audio CD)
this is a great band and a really good album...bottom line. their last ep Hungry For Nothing showed promise, but Manners and Praise delivers in spades. They seem to have lost their second guitar player and gotten a new drummer, but if anything, it has just made the sound angrier and a hell of a lot more propulsive. It's like the amrep back catalog fed through Black Flag and on top of that, its given a better production than any of those bands ever dreamed of...more specifically, i hear a lot of Hammerhead (especially in track 3), "amrep-era" Today is the Day, Unsane, Glazed Baby, "old" Melvins and as i said earlier, Black Flag. It all flys by in 30 min too, so it never outstays its welcome.
