What I love about this book is the photos of manorial interiors that stir the imagination as to what it would have been like to live in these houses. The descriptions are nice too with the historical owners where available, bits on the construction and details of the buildings and what happened to each manor, if known.
Recommended for medieval architecture enthusiasts and writers.
