The Art of Divorce Will Save Your Life,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Man's Guide to the Art of Divorce (Paperback)
The art of divorce will give you the practical and truthful method to end a marriage at the time you need the truth the most. Divorce involves guilt, second-guessing, and attempts to win back the approval of the divorcing spouse. All of these emotions will lead to disaster in the divorce courts if left unchecked, unanalyzed, and if not placed into proper perspective. The Art of Divorce will give you practical advice on how to deal with these emotions, and how to act upon them to bring about a successful outcome. Actually, the book could also be titled, The Art of Marriage, and should be required reading for all newlyweds.

Get advice on how to surrender!,

This review is from: The Man's Guide to the Art of Divorce (Paperback)
I found this book to be nothing but an affirmation of the low status of men in divorce court/family court. We are second class citizens with no rights. In this book, there are no guidelines to navigate and shore-up your position. It basically tells you to bend over and take it. Your choices are how low you drop your pants and how far down you grab your ankles. It reminds me of the "Twilight-Zone" episode, "How to Serve Man". I already knew how skewed, against men, family courts are. I was hoping to find some good advice to level the playing field. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. Now I can add the author of this book to the same "take-my-money-list" that the current family court system and my ex-spouse grace.

The Man's Guide to The Art of Divorce,
By Anson Storm (Kansas City, MO) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Man's Guide to the Art of Divorce (Paperback)
I really enjoyed this 'easy read' guide to an unpleasant topic. I wish that I had this guide when I went through my divorce. The examples in the book are great and really 'bring the point home.' The 'Divorce Dictionary' is a must for all laypeople wanting to understand a complicated legal issue. Children are often the 'Victims of Divorce' and the author gives excellent advice on this very sensitive area. I heartily recommend this book to anyone contemplating divorce or working on saving their marraige before divorce is the only answer.
