From the Artist

This is the next evolution for Twiztid and their style of hip-hop. It's coming right out of the headlines, right from our DNA, and it's BIG. So big it's gonna take two albums. Man's Myth is just the beginning, just Volume 1 of the story. One month later, Twiztid unleash the beast with Mutant: Volume 2. Not just two sides to the story, Man's Myth and Mutant are also two sides of Twiztid. Where once they fused the wickedest raps with the wildest riffs, a mitosis has occurred--creating two albums with two different styles. Man's Myth is Twiztid the rappers on a whole new tip. They've honed their rhymes to a fine shine, and this album is all 'bout it. Straight up hip-hop. Mutant is the flip side, Twiztid the headbangers, gettin raw and wicked with electric rock. Still the same dope rhymes, but with a full band, and devil horns up in the air. One rap album, one rock album, twice Twiztid.

Man's Myth and Mutant, coming Summer 2005. Volume 1 opens the door, and Volume 2 comes charging through...

Product Description

Twiztid have always explored the darker side of hip-hop, with their eerie imagery and serial killer style. Man's Myth is the next step: a look at the world from two psychopaths realizing they live in a world of crazies. This volume is the 'rap' album, as opposed to Volume 2: Mutant, which comes out next month, and is the 'Rock' album companion piece. Comes with a bonus DVD containing 2 hours of concert footage, interviews, over 250 new and never-before seen pictures and instrumental versions of all 15 tracks on the album. Psychopathic. 2005.

4.0 out of 5 stars Twiztid....Good Men, Great Myth..... July 2, 2005
Format:Audio CD
This has been a long awaited CD for me. Twiztid are my favorite on Psychopathic. This CD was worth the wait and it is only part 1. The Introduction is creative, sort of like the start of a movie. I really love the contoversial epithets. "Karma" is like the start of a great horror movie. The music is great and the message is profound. I mean, we have all done bad and good things, but wonder, do we deserve to go to heaven? or was it too bad to warrant, even hell? "Story Of Our Lives" is a good party jam! The music is bumpin! These guy will definitely party with anyone and loves to tell about it. This is true underground and tells of Twiztid's journey through life. Inviting everyone to come and enjoy their flow! "Won't Die" reminds me alot of 'Suicide Hotline' by ICP. The opening skit is funny as hell. The song is deep, like going through life and weathering all the storms, feeling pain, love, and pleasure along the way.

"Get It Right" is a controversial message about the church. I mean, what's with all the priests molesting kids and people dying for religious leaders? I see their point, that we have to make our own decisions. "So High" is all about getting high. I would say that this song is a sequel to Monoxide's Chainsmoker CD. These cats smoke so much that they are in a euphoric trance constantly and anything else is abnormal...LOL. "Off The Chain" has a funny opening. It starts with an awakening from being high and sleeping with a busted skank. Then it goes into a tribute to sleeping with any skeezer who will give up the panties.

5.0 out of 5 stars Holy SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! June 29, 2005
By Mike
Format:Audio CD
Holy SHHHH twiztid has taking this psychopathic thang to another level so get ready juggalos/lettes because this shhhh is really off the track, off your brain, poping out your eye balls into ice trays, its like an old man at the beach chillin, getting a tan . and then a gust of wicked flips his wig off. Wicked is the word im looking for.

The Question is when is Jamie Madrox coming out with his solo album????????????????If you never heard twiztid before buy this album then go backwards with the other albums???

4.0 out of 5 stars Wow, it's been a while and I'm impressed June 28, 2005
Format:Audio CD
First off, I haven't listened to Psychopathic music in a good 2 years. I've fallen into the light of bands like White Zombie. With this set aside, I don't listen to rap anymore. But, I've always liked Twiztid's lyrics, performance, history, so I decided to give it a shot. The album is a step back to Mirror/Mirror and Mostastless. Mirror's dark edge and Mostastless' lyrical delivery. They bring so much to the table with content ranging from urban myths to politcal views to religion. So songs are a tad boring but, Jamie and Paulie came through on this. Easliy beats Green Book and Freek Show. If you've never heard Twiztid give them a chance, they are def. worth it. A rap group with a horror/rock edge. I'm looking forward to Mutant more, which is out in late July, because of it's supposed all rock feel. But for now this will do. Worth the money and time.

This albums is awesome. It has a great, gloomy, dark feel to most of it. I think that Mutant (Vol. 2) is awesome aswell, but this is better, in my opinion. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to all juggalos worldwide.

5.0 out of 5 stars Twiztids Man's Myth, Vol. 1 July 30, 2005
Format:Audio CD
This is another great cd from that wicked psychopathic duo of Twiztid. This album out did the last one they put out and since this time a round it is in a double set. First you will be shown the way through Man's Myth, this cd talks about everything that we have in this world that has to with stories or Myth's that exist in life. This mean there be rapping about Aliens all the way to the bed time stories that your parents tell little kiddis before they go to sleep. I tell you what, if you get this album you will diffenetly have to pick up the second Vol. Mutant when it comes out. By the way if this is your first psychopathic records album you are getting welcome to the family and nice choice on music.
