My husband loves this book and is happy to make cocktails for me from the many recipes, so I like it, too. The martini recipe (more a methodology than a recipe, I think) is really good. It's nice that it is laid out by type of liquor, so it makes it easy to figure out a good cocktail for whatever liquor you have on hand. Basic cocktail recipes, with variations for each one. A nice book to have around.

Ok, I'll be honest, I don't write reviews, but this book is great. The writing is humorous and the drinks are great. Make sure to read the side notes and the tips, they make the book.

We've had the book about a month and have tries something new out of the book most nights since. There hasn't been a drink that we've hated and there have been several that we've loved. The only problem with the book is we had to get a new blender, new glasses, and make several trips to the local liquor store (all in the name of research of course).

I got this to replace a book I had with thousands of drinks which was way too many. This book has the perfect number of drinks and variations to keep us happy for many more months.

We're looking forward to trying out the rest of the drinks!
