Love this book! I'm not sure why its targetted to men specifically...I think anyone who is into really good food, that is also easy and fun to prepare will love it. I tried the blueberry muffins (they deserve only REAL butter!) - AMAZING; and the quiche is incredibly creamy and savory. This will absolutely become a staple cookbook for me, esp when I want to make a big impression without a big hassle. It's funny, too! Now, a man who makes you laugh AND can cook?? Two words: YUM ME!!

I bought this one for my son when he left home for College. Didn't want the poor kid to starve, wanted to show him how easy it is to "produce" meals in a hurry, after all - Milk shakes and Powerdrinks aren't the stuff I wanted for him to live on ! Wow - he really used the book and became quite a "Blender-Cook". He promised to keep and cherish it, maybe even take it into marriage with him . Now THAT's a good book! I use my own blender quite a bit, and I am glad someone finally came out with recipes in print for blenders - only one smallish appliance needed ! It goes beyond the shakes, the smoothies and such. The pureed soups are wonderful, the veggy dips are creamy, the nutbutters delicious.
