I listened to Alvin Band online and it was wonderful. I wanted the CD to put into my collection, so I ordered this. It came fast and the art for the album is fantastic and the music is just so great. I recommend this to anyone!

The two discs in this collection feature tracks that push the limits of melody and vocal harmony. It's an endless source of fun and amusement and pleasure. You've heard the sources of Alvin Band, but you've never heard anything quite like what he brings in these two brief recordings. Highly recommended!

CD is AWESOME. I have been looking ofr a cd for a long time that is easy flowing song to song and it is fun! My little brother and sister enjoy it as well!

Not even including the artwork on and inside the case, this album is a true work of art. The a capella Mantis Preying is catchy, different, and it smoothly moves between songs like one long piece. It's almost like Mozart's coronation masses, the way it flows together into an album. It's almost like Animal Collective or Of Montreal in overall tone, except it holds a more melodious tune and is significantly more cohesive.

The Lady Portrait EP is just a few songs from the album previously released by Alvin Band, but the quality of these songs is better than ever.

In short, Alvin Band just keeps getting better!
