Milton and I, and all the contributors, have written lots of new material for this new 2006 edition:
- 5 new chapters patient selection, contact lens optics, soft contact lenses and the tear film, pediatric contact lenses, colored lenses
- all new CD-ROM, with hundreds of video-clips
- some of the CD-ROM multimedia sections are all-new, never before seen in any textbook! Such as the new "Fit this patient" interactive section in the Gas-Permeable Lens Fluorescein Patterns. Also the Clinical examination techniques, showing clinical use of the slitlamp biomicroscope, keratometer, tearscope, retinoscope, vertometer, radiuscope, and tonometer. The soft lenses and the tear film chapter aims to give the clinician "the keys" in fitting and prescribing soft lenses for best patient comfort.

I ordered this book for my sister. When my sister got it the book was not original. It was a Photo Copy of the original . I was very surprised when I saw it that way. Wonder why it got sent that way. Isn't it a copyright violation to do that ?

This book came in excellent condition, with service in less than 2 weeks!
