This letter opener works really well and it is very handy. However, it is much too expesive. Buy it cheaper at retail stores.

All I can say is wow, I feel so dumb now! I purchased this in replacement of what I thought was better, sturdy one except it's the exact same one I bought from Wal-mart for .99! You won't get the pictured item. Only other difference is the 'universal' logo on the opener and to think I paid nearly $3 more for the same item, I guess I learned my lesson.

This is handy, and with a package of 5 you won't feel bad throwing them away when they're no longer sharp. Maybe because I get some large envelopes with thick paper, these little blades never last long for me. However, I'll use them when they're sharp. You can get these for less though.

What I like about these little letter openers is that they're a pleasure to use when the blade is sharp. That experience doesn't last long though as they don't stay sharp with use. But if you're going to get some, I'd get an even better deal.
