10 Ton Air or Manual Hydraulic LOG Wood Splitter Wheel

This splitter did not work when first taken out of the box. The piston moved about 2 inches with air pressure from a large commercial air compressor and then stopped. I was not even trying to split a log---just testing it to see how it operated. After only 2 months during which time
it had not been unpacked from the box the vendor told me there was no warranty on the machine and that I had to determine what part was defective and had to order the part from them at my expense. Since I do not know what part is defective, this is hardly helpful though there are only two major mechanical parts, the hydraulic jack and the unit in which the air goes and transfers pressure to the hydraulic fluid. The splitter is designed to work standing upright which is inherently unstable and it falls over if you set a log on the jack. This is largely a piece of junk sold by a company that does not stand behind their product and has a useless service department. Buy it at your own risk.
